I run a busy, successful Mary Kay business, and love what I do. I am in the beauty business, and believe when you look your best on the outside you will feel your best on the inside. Which is why I hired Deb Smulyan of FREESPACES to give my home office and studio a total “makeover.” By far, it was the best investment I have made in my business in years.
Deb is the complete package. She is smart, supportive, and incredibly hard working. She made it easy and even enjoyable to get to the bottom of my piles, files, boxes, bows and beauty supplies. While she worked on a lot of the hard stuff (i.e. decluttering) without me, she asked lots of questions and always consulted me before making any decisions. She was very good about imparting organizing advice, the rationale behind recommendations, and useful “do’s and don’ts” to help me commit to new routines and solidify good habits. She is a joy to work with, and truly seems to love what she does, even when the work is physically demanding or tedious. She also provides excellent advice on design, décor, how to use what you have or what you might need to increase the visual appeal and practicality of your space.
This project wrapped up a year ago. Even though my business became even busier and better over the last year (getting organized was definitely a boost to my bottom line), everything I accomplished with Deb still looks great and works better than I imagined it could.
